Reversing a Curse

I never thought I’d be able to say it, but the Boston Red Sox are World Series Champions.

Reversing a curse 86 years in the making with nothing but style by coming back from a 0-3 game deficit in a 7 game final. No other team in professional American sports history has done that and against none others than the New York Yankees.

The parade is tomorrow in the city. I’m still debating on going.
I talked to my mom and she said she thought she’d never see this happen in her lifetime.

Maybe anything really is possible…

Silver and silent, Silver and Cold

I… I came here by day, but I left here in darkness
And found you, found you on the way
And now, it is silver and silent, it is silver and cold
You, in somber resplendence, I hold

Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I’ll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one

Light, like the flutter of wings, feel your hollow voice rushing into me
As you’re longing to sing
So I… I will paint you in silver, I will wrap you in cold
I will lift up your voice as I sink

Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one, now
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I’ll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me

Cold in life’s throws, I’ll fall asleep for you
Cold in life’s throws, I only ask you turn away
Cold in life’s throws, I’ll fall asleep for you
Cold in life’s throws, I only ask you turn
As they seep… into me, oh, my beautiful one, now

Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I’ll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me)
Your sins into me… oh

Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one, now
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I’ll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into…
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one

Occupational Shift

I love working at my current company. I’m fairly sure its one of the best jobs I’ll ever have.

That being said, its time to move on.

After a frightening first interview and life questioning second interview, I have been offered a job at a company in the middle of the city. Smack dab in the middle of where I always wanted to work. I will no longer be doing network administration, though. The position is strictly a computer programming job. I have mixed feelings about the entire situation, but I’d be ashamed of myself if I passed judgement without ever knowing what it was like in the first place.

I have accepted the job with a 65% increase in what I am currently being paid. My last full day at my, now, old job will be November 4th. The real challenge will be trying to get everyone to keep in touch with me.

One day at a time.

Emotive Reflections

The art section is up. Sort of.

Right now its just doing a directory listing of the art folder with all my drawings in it. I might leave it like that or change it, but for now at least you can see everything.

Starting to get the hang of php a little. Its very particular with its syntax.

Layout Flux

Attempting to fix the awful default layout and learn css and a little php at the same time is actually not as bad as I thought it would be. So far so good.

The sitemap on the left should help navigationally.

Hmmm…what next…
